US&R Rescue Specialist Certificate

This certificate program is designed for personnel of a search and rescue task force working towards the TEMA/FEMA criteria for rescue specialists.

The certificate includes all the major courses that are relevant for responders working as a rescue specialist on an USAR or technical rescue task force. 

Certificate Details

  • At least four of the required courses must be provided by UT CIS.
  • Credit is granted for training completed within the last seven years.
  • Certificate cost: $50.
  • No renewal fees.
